I would like to use my mp3 files a ringtones on my Samsung Gravity/t456, but It doesn’t allow non DRM-tagged files. My question is how can I add the DRM tag to the files?

  1. Fred says:

go to this site. its free

your carrier needs to be set as “unknown”
and you will have the option of sending ringtones
to your phone as drm i think,
just check the box that says , check here before sending to phone.

first convert the mp3 to an amr file and I wouldnt use more than 30 sec for ring tone try for a great free converter or search for switch sound converter
next open samsung new pc studio (should be on disk with phone) and connect phone
navigate to your voice recorder files copy the amr file here
Once in this file you can set your ring tone in settings using voice files. voice files don’t require DRM
